How It Works
Select Mode
Choose the appropriate scan mode (stud, deep, metal or AC) for your task.
Simple Calibration
Place Cyber Professional Stud Finder flush against the wall and press the scan button; it calibrates automatically and can start even over a stud.

This is a versatile and attractive unit that is fairly intuitive to use. There are felt pads on the back that make sliding without scratching the wall easy. There is an internal battery charged via a USB port. There is a USB cable, but no charger is included. Functionally, it had no issues accurately detecting studs, metal, or live wiring. Unfortunately, studs and water pipes use the same detector, and telling which one is which would be pretty important. GIven how much it does, it is a very good value for the money.

Just got this Cyber Professional Stud Finder and I'm impressed that for $89 it does everything I actually need in one tool. I already have a good quality stud finder from Home Depot that works great for regular wood studs, and I confirmed that this one is equally as accurate on that front.
The real advantage for me is the multi-mode scanning. My building has metal framing in some spots and I definitely don't want to drill into any live wires. This thing handles wood studs, metal objects, and live AC detection really well. The electrical sensitivity is especially impressive. I tested it on an extension cord and it picked it up from almost a foot away.
I feel way more comfortable using this over any other stud finder I've tried. Being able to pick up on metal or electrical gives me a lot more confidence before I drill.
The back has a nice felt material that lets it glide smoothly across the wall, plus there's a clear indicator showing exactly where the sensor is. The instruction manual is actually well written and easy to follow, and it even includes links to helpful videos.
Overall this is a solid all-in-one scanner. If you need reliable stud, metal, and especially live wire detection, this one is worth grabbing especially for the price.

We have a house built in the 40's which had weird wall materials and unconventional stud placement . I had trouble with so many stud finders but this one worked so well that I feel I didn't pay enough for it . Lol. If you have a house with annoying walls , get this !!
